On this day Impromptu gathering Friends Witnessing, marking Tears flowing Relief Hope Monumental change We watched Together Marking this moment in time with our own stories, our own eyes we created our own history.
Wow, I sat and watched this too with my sons and it was so emotional. How awesome it is that you thought to capture it on film! Your home looks so warm and cozy. :)
Thank you for your feedback, it was good to hear. I need to learn to trust my instincts more.. I had always planned to keep my children home with me and then when the time came, I panicked and sent my oldest to school. I think I have a lot of self doubt and just need a little reassurance. :)
Oh, and I forgot to mention the giant tree house in the middle of the room.. what a good memory you have! We will definitely be making a trip back there again soon.. the boys loved it!
Well, I do love to take photos and that seemed like a great reason to snap a few. It was great to load them up on Flickr and see other flickrites in the Obama moment, also.
Yes, panic and self-doubt definitely have a way of sabotaging the best-laid plans. If you haven't already, do your best to connect with other homeschooling families in your area--events, listserves, etc and that should help immensely. And if you panic, do your best to learn from and move on from those moments, it's all any of us can do.
Oh the treehouse...loved that. I know my kids would, too. Thanks for reading (and following!)
