It's just little things that fill me with gratitude and happiness in summer, like day lilies under my kitchen window, bee balm visited by hummmingbirds, the scent of the ocean on the breeze and the sweet, intoxicating scent of blossoming milkweed wafting into the house. (Yes, we let it grow among the day lilies where it attracts many types of butterflies.)
I also had the lovely surpise of discovering that Jane directed people over here from her wonderful blog. I'm honored and grateful and if you've stopped by to say hello, many thanks! You can see more about my Maine here.
My son has been at a writing camp all week and he's been taking wonderful photos, which you can see here. I'm really enjoying his summer take on Maine.
Warmly,
Amy
So jealous of your seasons. As a Northeasterner transplanted to So Cal, I'm hungry for real seasons, for summer that actually means something. And you write it up so well. Blessed be.

Oh, how glorious that looks. New England is so beautiful in the summer. (Not to mention the fall, winter...)
