As usual, we were the last to leave. It's just too beautiful on the water in the evening to pass it up. As it should be in summer, it was only the rumble of hungry bellies that forced the kids out of the water.

Gathering At The Point
We were up at the Bradstreet Homestead for the Memorial Day gathering at The Point, the family place on the pond. As always, the day is spent catching up with family and friends, roasting marshmallows, braving the first swim in pond, exploring and napping. It was a beautiful day and we look forward to many return visits this summer.
As usual, we were the last to leave. It's just too beautiful on the water in the evening to pass it up. As it should be in summer, it was only the rumble of hungry bellies that forced the kids out of the water.
