Happy almost-weekend to everyone! I'm taking a moment from my crazy list of things I must get done today (bake a cheesecake and bread, make pesto and potato salad and other snacks, mow and weed the garden, clean the entire house...yeah, I'll be up late) to share that both Olivia's blog and this one made it to the list of 50 Eye-Opening Unschooling Blogs (#s 27 and 50). I thought that was pretty cool. It's always nice to be recognized and it's already made me at least one new friend (shout out to Zoa who let me know about this, because I had no idea, so thanks!)
With that bit of excitement shared, I must return to my list. The kids will defintely be put to work, today as well--I love it when we're all busy, homekeeping, together. We're having friends here this evening and tomorrow for a holiday cook-out and we may have other parties to attend this weekend, but we're still ironing out those details. I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend and will enjoy these last days of summer to the fullest.
