A Little Night Music

It's very late (or early) and we've just returned from seeing the fabulous Of Monsters and Men in concert at the State Theatre in Portland. They were amazing. Truly. If you have a chance to see them, do it.






The concert had two opening acts, one stellar (Elle King) and the other a little different, and so the main show didn't even begin until 945pm and well, let's just say our 4pm late lunch didn't hold us for that entire time. So with bellies rumbling, we took ourselves to our local burger place for clam cakes and lobster rolls. Lobster rolls are good just about any time, but the nearly midnight ones are especially delicious, though I don't intend to make that a habit. Oh so tired, we must get showers and crawl into cool beds. Our dreams will be filled silver trumpet song and Icelandic voices, I'm certain.
