Lughnasadh Garden

Since today is Lughnasadh, or First Harvest, Lammas, come walk through our little organic, urban garden with us, where we are just beginning to have our own first harvest of fruits and vegetables. Our Early pears are ready, the Stacyville pear tree is loaded, as is the Madison peach, we have beans, tomatoes, lettuce, cauliflower, basil and parsley ready and the grapes will begin ripening soon. Some other things need a bit more time, but that's alright with us, we know gardening is an act of patience, as much as it is an act of hopeful delight. Blessed Lughnasadh!
