42. That is, (aside from being the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything) I celebrated my 42 year, yesterday. I had a wonderful day out with my family, kicking around the coast, doing a little bit of antiquing, stopping for a delicious meal in Wiscasset, where the views were gorgeous in the evening sun. My family treated me to some really thoughtful gifts, new paints and brushes among the treasures, and after our day out, we came home to cake. It was a lovely day in every way. Thank you, my beautiful family, for being so absolutely loving.
Happy birthday! 42 is a good age - well, it's got to be, given what it has to live up to :)
