Sunshower

Saturday evening and the clouds were both breaking up and dark. The sun was setting and bathing everything in gold. Suddenly, huge raindrops began falling, adding their own music to the peaceful evening. It stopped as quickly as it had begun. Quick! My daughter and I, we grabbed our cameras and collected images, these snapshots of this fleeting orange-yellow light. As soon as we went back inside, the rain began again, but the sun stayed, melting into a saffron puddle.
